Most business owners carry the answer to “how much do I need to sell this month” in their head — or don’t have one at all. OBOSS was built for exactly that: to turn costs, contributions and the income you want into a clear monthly target, and to compare it with real sales as you go.
What OBOSS is
OBOSS is a web application for freelancers and micro companies. It runs in the browser, with no installation, in six languages. It consists of four modules that share the same data:
- Annual Ledger — issued and received invoices, other expenses, business overview and cash flow. Photograph an invoice or upload a PDF and AI reads the amounts, dates and supplier.
- Price Calculator — the price of a service, product, group course or a margin table for retail that truly covers costs, pay and profit.
- Sales Simulation — a twelve-month forecast and a plan-versus-actual comparison.
- Create Quote — quotes and proforma invoices as PDF that the customer accepts through a public link.
Alongside them is Obossy, an AI assistant that answers questions about the app and your data — it only reads and never changes anything.
What OBOSS deliberately does not do
OBOSS is not accounting software and does not issue tax invoices. That is a conscious decision: official invoicing is regulated differently in every country, and OBOSS wants to stay simple, affordable and usable across borders. You issue invoices where you issue them today, and OBOSS gives you the view accounting software does not: whether your price covers your costs and how much you need to sell to earn what you want.
How to start
- Create a free account — 30 days free, billed only after the trial.
- Load sample data with one click and click through the modules.
- Set your profit goal: the wizard asks how much you want to earn for yourself and calculates your monthly sales target.

FAQ
Does OBOSS issue invoices?
No. OBOSS is not accounting software and does not issue tax invoices. You issue invoices in your accounting or point-of-sale software and record them in OBOSS — or import them from a photo.
How much does the trial cost?
Nothing. You enter a card at sign-up but pay nothing for the first 30 days; cancel before the trial ends and there is no charge. After cancelling, your data stays readable and exportable.
Who is OBOSS for?
Freelancers and micro companies of up to ten people: service businesses, tradespeople, retail, hospitality and course providers.
Which languages does it support?
Slovene, English, Croatian, German, Italian and French — interface, help, e-mails and documents.
How fast can I start?
Sign-up takes a minute. One click loads sample data so you can see every module in action; the profit-goal wizard then guides you to your first calculation.
